VFS Chair Yoga session
Spring has sprung! Are you ready to get moving? If you're like me, you need to start moving those joints gently.
Volunteering For Seniors (VFS) instructor Anjana Chennagiri will be teaching one session of Chair Yoga with Gentle Movement and Meditation.

Time: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM (EST)
You have the option to donate any amount to VFS in lieu of paying the fee for the session.
Join Anjana for a Chair Yoga class that will incorporate breathwork, meditation, yoga, and some gentle movements.
Anjana is a passionate yoga instructor, educator, holistic health believer and community wellness entrepreneur. She is passionate to teach and promote yoga as a wellness service to promote physical and mental well-being in women and children. Through her programs like YogaFit and YoGami Kids she is on a mission to bring yoga to communities here in greater Boston.
Participants will enjoy the health benefits from these practices which may include better breathing habits, a calmer mind, lower blood pressure, increased balance and flexibility, stress reduction, improved sleep, and a sense of well-being.
No experience or props are necessary. Chairs will be used along with some standing poses.
The zoom session is open to everyone, regardless of your experience with yoga. Our Chair Yoga instructor will guide us through a gentle yoga practice that is suitable for all levels, and the use of a chair makes it accessible to those who may have difficulty getting up and down from the floor.
The zoom session will take place on June 11, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM EST, and all you need is a stable chair and an internet connection to join us. It's a great opportunity to take a break from your day-to-day routine, relax your body and mind, and connect with others in our community.
